like I was falling fast to the bottom of the ocean

© Meisterhaussiedlung, Dessau 2011 by Fritsch

Thought my heart was in a rut of recession / All the colors I had seen had faded into the black / Like I was falling fast to the bottom of the ocean / And just my luck my hands were all chained up behind my back / But now I’m coming up for air / I see my angel on the sand / She’s running out to meet me / To save me again (M. Ward)

wow honey what is that??? is God framing your pictures for you now? you are very important to God, yes indeed, and we pay our small homage to His creation by faithfully recreating it digitally, according to our humanity, our flaws, and our desire to make things better… we humbly submit our work to the throne room in heaven and say, like a child, this is what i did, will you hang it on Your refrigerator? and God says, as do I, Florian, it’s utterly beautiful…

Hands and heart bound and we are fading and seeking for that portal of deliverance and that person to be the rescuer–because they want to. An enigmatic photo full of intrigue and many interpretations. Lens Magic! Good work, Florian!

    nice … framed ?

LG, Uwe

Been a while since I dropped by, Fritsch; I hope you are doing well.

I am intrigued by the light and frame within the frame. I’m also a sucker for such cloud formations. Nice work.

Was ist das ? This German expression gave in 1760 a French word: “vasistas” (Déformation de l’all. was ist das?, littéral. « qu’est-ce que c’est? », nom donné p. plaisant. à cette ouverture par laquelle on peut s’adresser à quelqu’un).
I don’t know why so many times your pictures, Florian, lead me back to my young years. This time to the first time I heard this German question: Was ist das ?
And, yes, this frame opens not only to an urban view (a house and the sky above) but towards my young years. That’s why this photograph is not only a powerful graphical gem, that’s why this masterpiece of yours is a powerful memorial gem!

  16. It emerges something curious in this photo. Light and imposing structure. Framing in the frame. Magnfique composition …
