the blues come & I can’t outrun ‚em

© 1570 / 1571, Briesetal 2011 by Fritsch

No moon on the water / The way I’m acting it’s no wonder / The blues come and I can’t outrun ‚em / I ain’t foolin‘ me, I ain’t foolin‘ no one / I have to work hard to suffer alone / I have to work harder to be so alone / Don’t like half of who I’ve been / But I’ve kept my promises to all of them (Magnolia Eletric Co.)

  1. Yeah, the blues raining down on you like a ton of bricks, a deluge of stone & mortar, hitting till you go numb with pain and exhaustion. But then again, the blues also brings the music, it puts the ’soul‘ into breathing.

Love the shot man, love the beauty in it’s starkness, love how expressive it is…

Such perfect..evocative solitude. Love the mood you’ve captured/created. Both with your words..and your image!

A lesson of minimalism! Gorgeous composition!! Would like to see it on my wall! Great!
    Have a nice day.

  6. Cheers for adding me in your links page man! That’s a massive compliment coming from you. Believe me, I hang around here a lot lately, discovering new tunes, and staring at your achingly beautiful shot’s…how they inspire me!

I didn’t want to comment. I wanted just to look at. I wanted, but I can’t look at this gem without telling how perfect it is to me. A perfect medicine!
This is a strange dice on our way… Playing it will lead to some perfect world. The perfect world where it’s impossible to speak. Or impossible not to speak.
Maybe your best shot ever, Florian. Maybe, but does it matter? The fact is you’re killing me with this one.

    Amicalement,

    Olivier
