songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

the endless, endless summer in your laugh

© S., Frankreich 2011 by Fritsch

And I wrote this song about it / ‚cause I didn’t care about any worthless photograph / I wrote this song just to remember / The endless, endless summer in your laugh (M. Ward)

Words fail me to tell how much i love this picture, Florian, a picture that tells me about these French summer days of my youthful years, when we spent holidays in the country side.
I love the composition with the one in the center of it, the center of some place that is not exactly a garden, under a both cloudy and sunny sky.

very cool shot, I quite the sky.

Wow. For how simple this photograph is in composition is how much more thoughtful it is in meaning. Screams Diane Arbus which is hard not to love.

    Sommerfrische

Zupf dir ein Wölkchen aus dem Wolkenweiß,
das durch den sonnigen Himmel schreitet.
Und schmücke den Hut, der dich begleitet,
    mit einem grünen Reis.

Verstecke dich faul in der Fülle der Gräser.
    Weil’s wohltut, weil’s frommt.
