songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

so at night I can see her & she can see me

© Garagen, Norddeich 2010 by Fritsch

Four walls could you please keep out all the stories from overseas / Or about any wreck or about some poor kid drowning / All we need is a window with moonlight coming through the trees / Maybe a colored light so at night I can see her & she can see me / We’ll just lay around & our hearts will sing like Mariachis (Richmond Fontaine)

Sometimes she and i are laying in some bed and what we can see is just a wall, the wall of a fabric or a supermarket. But we don’t care if there is no wall between us…
And the next day we will leave and take the car out of the parking lot to go looking for some other place.
One brilliant shot, Florian, opening the rich box of daily stories.

Ist das, was wir sehen, das, was ist? Oder ist das, was wir sehen, nur ein spiegelverkehrtes Abbild dessen, was eigentlich ist oder sein könnte? Der Moment des Erkennens. Schon wieder vorbei. Freiheit. Melancholie. „Last night I knew you, tonight I don’t.“

    Schön. Sehr schön.

Great idea to have catch it by the back: it makes the difference! Nice BW and fantastic grain… as usual!

A peek at what’s behind the facade… little, ugly dome skylights, drainpipes and cinder blocks. I wonder what they’re selling out front?
