One must really enlarge these works of your’s to fully appreciate the wide range of greys. Somewhere between black and white some great stories are told.

That’s one of the best songs ever. I’ve seen Son Volt six or seven times. That record in particular is so full of imagery and emotion. Nice, understated image. Perfectly complements Farrar’s songwriting.
