This picture reminds me a song from Nelly Furtado – turn off the lights. :-)
I like the minimalism and simplicity in this one. Interesting composition well executed indeed.
oh how many times i’ve tried to take a picture of a bare lightbulb!!! and failed lol this is AWESOME!!! p.s. you warm my heart too :)
fantastic B&W! excellent lighting and simplicity
hey, what happened to my comment?
well, i’m not saying it all again! :-)
Exquisite use of lines and shapes. Must say this is a very well seen moment, Fritsch; captivating capture.
This is wonderful… Like a stray idea.
I dream for a long time to find a ceiling, a minimalist one as yours.. I love this photograph, Fritsch.. you don’t forget lines in your construction, too. Do you know a red ceilling photographed by Eggleston ?
to the right of the bulb is a circular mark with a crack running downwards, I like the way it inversely mimics the bulb and flex. The shadows play a vital role. Corker of a shot Fritsch!
nice combination of the recognizable and the abstract.
Bauhaus minimalistisch, steh ich voll drauf. Gut gesehen, …
Oh, this draws me in instantly, and sets the mind wondering. So stark, kind of unsettling…perhaps the start of an interrogation. Brilliant shot!

Simplicity at its best – Beautiful work!
